Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of modified minimally invasive surgical implant technique on aesthetic effect and oral function in patients with complex anterior tooth loss. Methods A total of 80 patients with complex anterior tooth loss treated in the Department of Stomatology, Beijing Changping Hospital from April 2021 to April 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the experimental group by the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received flapless immediate implant restoration, and the experimental group received modified minimally invasive surgical implant technique. The aesthetic effect, oral function, complication rate and implant survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group achieved higher Pink Esthetic Score (PES) and White Esthetic Score (WES), lower tooth mobility value, and higher masticatory function score and speech intelligibility at 1 year after operation (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group (7.50%) was lower than that of the control group (27.50%), and the implant survival rate (95.00%) was higher than that of the control group (77.50%) (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with complex anterior tooth loss, the application of modified minimally invasive surgical implant technique can achieve favorable aesthetic effect and recovery of oral function, with fewer complications and higher implant survival rate, which is worthy of clinical application.
