Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of orthodontic fixed traction combined with restorative treatment on aesthetic effect in patients with subgingival crown fracture of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 80 patients with subgingival crown fracture of anterior teeth treated in the outpatient department of Nantong Third People's Hospital from June 2023 to October 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received restorative treatment alone, and the observation group received orthodontic fixed traction combined with restorative treatment. The aesthetic effect, satisfaction and periodontal status were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of aesthetic effect in the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction scores of color matching, contour shape, comfort and overall aesthetics in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the probing depth and gingival bleeding index were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic fixed traction combined with restorative treatment for subgingival crown fracture of anterior teeth can improve aesthetic effect and patient satisfaction, and optimize periodontal health, with favorable clinical application value.
