Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of zirconia all-ceramic crown on facial aesthetics in patients undergoing aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 70 patients who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in Shapotou District People's Hospital from January 2022 to July 2026 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to different restorative materials, with 35 patients in each group. The control group received traditional porcelain-fused-to-metal crown restoration, and the observation group received zirconia all-ceramic crown restoration. The facial aesthetic scores, restoration satisfaction, periodontal health indicators, recovery of oral function and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of tooth color matching, tooth morphology regularity, smile arc coordination, facial overall symmetry, gingival aesthetics and total score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The restoration satisfaction rate of the observation group (97.14%) was higher than that of the control group (77.14%) (P <0.05). The periodontal probing depth, gingival bleeding index and plaque index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of masticatory efficiency and pronunciation clarity in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (2.86%) was lower than that in the control group (17.14%). Conclusion The application of zirconia all-ceramic crown in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth can effectively optimize facial aesthetics, improve patients' satisfaction with oral restoration, help to improve periodontal health and oral function, with a low incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical application.
