Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of endoscopic new dual-plane dissection technique on breast aesthetic effect in patients undergoing breast ptosis correction. Methods A total of 76 female patients who received breast ptosis correction at Xiamen Siming Meiying Yahan Medical Beauty Clinic from January 2024 to January 2026 were selected. According to different surgical approaches, they were divided into the conventional group and the endoscopic group, with 38 patients in each group. The conventional group was given augmentation mammoplasty with periareolar incision, and the endoscopic group adopted the endoscopic new dual-plane dissection technique. The surgical parameters, breast aesthetic effect and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time in the endoscopic group was longer than that in the conventional group, while the intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage volume and hospitalization time were better than those in the conventional group (P <0.05). At 3 months after operation, the breast aesthetic score of the endoscopic group was higher than that of the conventional group, and the distance from nipple to sternal midline and the distance from mid-clavicular point to inframammary fold were shorter than those in the conventional group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the endoscopic group (5.26%) was lower than that in the conventional group (18.42%) (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with breast ptosis correction, endoscopic new dual-plane dissection technique can shorten hospitalization time, reduce intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume, lower the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve breast aesthetic effect.
