Objective To explore the effect of staged personalized aesthetic nursing on scar recovery, skin barrier function and psychological status in patients with healed deep facial burns. Methods A total of 80 patients with healed deep facial burns admitted to our hospital from October 2023 to October 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was given conventional rehabilitation nursing, and the observation group was given staged personalized aesthetic nursing on the basis of the control group. The scar recovery, skin barrier function and psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of color, vascularity, thickness and pliability in each dimension of Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the transepidermal water loss of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the stratum corneum hydration was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The staged personalized aesthetic nursing program can relieve scar hyperplasia, repair skin barrier, and alleviate negative emotions, which is suitable for burn plastic wound repair.
