Objective To analyze the effect of wound healing-scar repair dual-phase linkage aesthetic nursing on wound aesthetic repair effect in patients with burn plastic surgery. Methods A total of 88 patients with burn plastic surgery admitted to the First Afffliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the reference group and the experimental group by the random number table method, with 44 patients in each group. Both groups received vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) therapy. The reference group was given conventional nursing, and the experimental group was given wound healing-scar repair dual-phase linkage aesthetic nursing. The wound aesthetic repair effect, recovery status, aesthetic satisfaction, acceptance of disability and body image disturbance were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of scar thickness, pigmentation, vascular distribution and ffexibility in the experimental group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The wound healing time, granulation tissue growth time and skin blood circulation recovery time in the experimental group were shorter than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The aesthetic satisfaction rate of the experimental group (95.45%) was higher than that of the reference group (79.55%) (P<0.05).After nursing, the ADS score of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group, and the BIRS score was lower than that of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of wound healing-scar repair dual-phase linkage aesthetic nursing in aesthetic repair of burn wounds can improve wound aesthetic repair effect, shorten granulation growth and wound healing time, improve patient satisfaction, and ameliorate acceptance of disability and body image disturbance.
