Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of diversified improved skin nursing model on incision aesthetics and comfort of patients with postoperative scars. Methods A total of 100 patients with postoperative scars admitted to General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from October 2023 to October 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by coin ffip method, with 50 patients in each group. Both groups received silicone gel scar patch. The control group received conventional skin nursing intervention, and the study group received diversiffed improved skin nursing model intervention. The incision healing time, scar maturation time, incision aesthetics, comfort, scar status and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incision healing time and scar maturation time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The excellent rate of incision aesthetics in the study group (94.00%) was higher than that in the control group (78.00%) (P<0.05). After intervention, the comfort scores of physiological, psychological, mental and sociocultural dimensions in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The VSS score and average scar thickness of the study group at 3 months after operation were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the study group (96.00%) was higher than that of the control group (80.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion On the premise of standardized application of silicone gel scar patch, compared with conventional skin nursing, diversiffed improved skin nursing model can more effectively inhibit postoperative incision scar hyperplasia, and improve patients’ comfort, incision aesthetics and satisfaction, and has high clinical nursing application value.
