Objective To analyze the effect of cryotherapy on clinical efffcacy and skin status in patients with disffguring allergic skin diseases. Methods A total of 116 patients with disffguring allergic skin diseases admitted to Haiyuan County People’s Hospital from September 2024 to April 2026 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 58 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drugs, and the observation group was combined with cryotherapy. The clinical efffcacy, lesion recovery, skin status and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group (96.55%) was higher than that in the control group (82.76%) (P<0.05). The complete lesion regression time and skin inffammation subsidence time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of skin color, smoothness and ffatness in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (5.17%) was lower than that in the control group (20.69%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Adjuvant cryotherapy for disffguring allergic skin diseases can effectively promote skin lesion repair and improve skin appearance, with reliable safety, which has prominent clinical value in aesthetic dermatology.
