Abstract:Objective To explore the aesthetic effect of Beyond cold light whitening combined with resin inffltration on anterior fluorosis teeth. Methods A total of 60 patients (120 affected teeth) with anterior fluorosis teeth admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 30 patients (60 affected teeth) in each group. The control group received Beyond cold light whitening treatment, and the study group was treated with resin inffltration on the basis of the control group. The aesthetic effect, satisfaction, clinical efffcacy, safety and stability were compared between the two groups. Results The VITA shade score and the proportion of chalky white spot area in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the ΔE value and satisfaction score were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the study group (93.33%) was higher than that of the control group (78.33%) (P<0.05). There was no statistically signiffcant difference in the incidence of dentin hypersensitivity and gingival irritation within 24 hours between the two groups (P>0.05). The 6-month color rebound rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Beyond cold light whitening combined with resin inffltration can effectively improve tooth color and appearance of chalky white spots in patients with anterior ffuorosis teeth and elevate satisfaction, with favorable safety. It is worthy of clinical application.
