Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of ffber post all-ceramic crown combined with crown lengthening on aesthetic effect in patients with residual roots and crowns of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 86 patients with residual roots and crowns of anterior teeth treated in the Comprehensive Department of Stomatology, Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2024 to March 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated with metal post all-ceramic crown combined with crown lengthening, and the observation group was treated with ffber post all-ceramic crown combined with crown lengthening. The restoration effect, aesthetic effect, dental function and levels of inffammatory factors in gingival crevicular ffuid were compared between the two groups. Results The restoration success rate of the observation group was 95.35%, which was higher than 81.40% of the control group (P<0.05). At 6 months after operation, the PES and WES scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). At 6 months after operation, the masticatory efffciency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the occlusal comfort score was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the observation group at 1 week after operation were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Fiber post all-ceramic crown combined with crown lengthening achieves favorable effect in the treatment of residual roots and crowns of anterior teeth. It can alleviate local inffammatory injury of gingiva, improve aesthetic effect, and promote dental function.
