Objective To investigate the effect of minimally invasive porcelain veneer restoration on restoration integrity and subjective aesthetic satisfaction in patients with aesthetics defect of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 102 patients (246 anterior teeth) who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in Hospital of Stomatology, Anhui Medical University from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected, and they were divided into the control group (n=51, 120 teeth) and the observation group (n=51, 126 teeth) according to different restoration schemes. The control group received conventional resin veneer restoration, and the observation group received minimally invasive porcelain veneer restoration. The restoration effect, restoration integrity and subjective aesthetic satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of color matching, morphological coordination and translucency in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The restoration integrity rate of the observation group (94.44%) was higher than that of the control group (83.33%) (P<0.05). The subjective aesthetic satisfaction score of the observation group was (8.92±0.86)points, which was higher than (7.35±1.12)points of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Minimally invasive porcelain veneer restoration has deffnite clinical efffcacy for aesthetic defects of anterior teeth. It can effectively improve restoration integrity and further enhance patients' subjective aesthetic satisfaction.
