Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of immediate implantation technique in the molar region on restoration effect and alveolar ridge modification in patients with oral implant restoration. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent implant restoration in the molar region in Sinopharm Yiji Hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected, and they were divided into the control group (67 patients with 86 implants) and the observation group (33 patients with 45 implants) according to different treatment plans. The control group received delayed implantation, and the observation group received immediate implantation. The implant success rate, alveolar bone resorption and morphological indicators of alveolar ridge modiffcation were compared between the two groups. Results The implant success rate of the observation group was 94.19%, compared with 95.56% in the control group, the difference was not statistically signiffcant (P>0.05). The vertical alveolar bone resorption of maxillary and mandibular molar regions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group presented lower modiffed alveolar height and better alveolar bone width (P<0.05). Conclusion Immediate implantation in the molar region achieves a high implant success rate, helps to maintain the stability of peri-implant tissues, and improves patients’ oral aesthetic effect, with favorable clinical application effect.
