Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of modiffed Devine surgery on penile appearance morphology in patients with concealed penis. Methods A total of 60 patients with concealed penis admitted to the Department of Andrology, Shanxi Incaier General Hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received conventional concealed penis plasty, and the observation group received modiffed Devine surgery. The penile appearance morphology, quality of life, satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The penile appearance morphology score of the observation group at 3 months after surgery was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life score of the observation group at 3 months after surgery was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group (93.33%) was higher than that of the control group (73.33%) (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (13.33%) was lower than that of the control group (36.67%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Modiffed Devine surgery can effectively improve the penile appearance morphology of patients with concealed penis, comprehensively enhance patients’ quality of life and satisfaction, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
