Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of focused ultrasound technology on the facial skin laxity in patients with facial skin laxity and mild ptosis. Methods A total of 60 patients with facial skin laxity and mild ptosis admitted to Chengdu Jinniu Naisiben Medical Beauty Clinic from April 2024 to April 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was intervened with radiofrequency aesthetic instrument, and the observation group was intervened with focused ultrasound technology. The facial skin laxity, skin elasticity, facial ptosis distance and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the score of facial skin laxity in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the score of skin elasticity in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the facial ptosis distance of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (6.67%) was lower than that in the control group (23.33%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with facial skin laxity and mild ptosis, focused ultrasound technology can effectively improve facial skin laxity, enhance skin elasticity, and reduce facial ptosis, with a low incidence of adverse reactions and favorable safety.
