Abstract:?Objective? To explore the improvement effect of hyaluronic acid repairing dressing on skin barrier function, inflammation severity and quality of life in patients with facial hormone-dependent dermatitis.?Methods? A total of 108 outpatients with facial hormone-dependent dermatitis treated in the Dermatology Department of Chengdu Fifth People"s Hospital from June 2025 to June 2026 were selected and randomly divided into observation group (54 cases) and control group (54 cases) by simple random sampling. The control group was treated with tacrolimus ointment alone, while the observation group was added with hyaluronic acid repairing dressing on the basis of the control group. Both groups received continuous treatment for 4 weeks. The changes of transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and stratum corneum hydration, inflammation severity scores (erythema, papule, desquamation and pruritus scores), and DLQI scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.?Results? After 4 weeks of treatment, the TEWL level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), while the stratum corneum hydration content was remarkably higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05). The scores of erythema, papule, desquamation and pruritus in the observation group decreased more significantly than those in the control group, and all inter-group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) scores of both groups decreased notably compared with pre-treatment levels, and the score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). ?Conclusion? Hyaluronic acid repairing dressing can effectively repair the skin barrier function, reduce inflammatory reaction, and significantly improve the quality of life in patients with facial hormone-dependent dermatitis. It is a more gentle and effective clinical treatment regimen.
