Abstract:Objective: To investigate the correlations among peri-implant soft tissue health, pink esthetic outcomes, and patient satisfaction after implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation in the anterior region. Methods: A cross-sectional correlational study was conducted involving 80 patients who underwent single-tooth implant-supported restoration in the maxillary anterior region and returned for follow-up at the Department of Stomatology of our hospital between January and December 2024. Assessments were performed 6–12 months after definitive restoration. The modified Plaque Index (mPI), modified Sulcus Bleeding Index (mSBI), bleeding on probing (BOP), Pink Esthetic Score (PES), and patient satisfaction were evaluated. Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to determine the relationships among these variables. Results: mPI, mSBI, and BOP were negatively correlated with both PES and overall patient satisfaction (all P<0.05). PES was positively correlated with overall patient satisfaction (r_s=0.616, P<0.001). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that PES was independently and positively associated with overall patient satisfaction (β=0.490, P<0.001), whereas mSBI was independently and negatively associated with overall patient satisfaction (β=-0.324, P=0.016). Conclusion: After implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation in the anterior region, better peri-implant soft tissue health is associated with more favorable pink esthetic outcomes and higher patient satisfaction. Clinical management should therefore emphasize peri-implant inflammation control and maintenance of soft tissue esthetics.
