Objective: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of injection combined with superficial dissection technique in treating tear trough dark circles. Methods: A total of 106 patients diagnosed with tear trough dark circles (structural dark circles) who received treatment at our hospital between January 2025 and January 2026 were enrolled. Using the ball-drawing method, participants were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each consisting of 53 cases. The control group received simple injectable filler therapy, while the observation group underwent treatment combining injection with superficial dissection technique. Results: There was no significant difference in symptom severity between groups at baseline. After treatment, the observation group showed significantly shallower tear trough depth and lower dark circle color scores compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Patient satisfaction scores were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was also lower in the observation group (P < 0.05). Although there was little difference in quality of life between groups at baseline, post-treatment scores were significantly better in the observation group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of injection combined with superficial dissection technique in treating tear trough dark circles demonstrates significant value in improving symptoms, enhancing patient satisfaction and quality of life, and ensuring treatment safety.
