Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of special nursing intervention based on multi-dimensional collaboration on palatal wound healing and pain intensity in patients undergoing peri-implant keratinized gingival grafting. Methods A total of 60 patients scheduled for peri-implant keratinized gingival grafting at Hospital of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University from January 2023 to June 2025 were enrolled. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, and the observation group received special nursing intervention based on multi-dimensional collaboration. The palatal wound healing, pain intensity, quality of life and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of WHI in the observation group at 3, 7 and 14 days after surgery were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of VAS in the observation group at 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after surgery were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The score of OHIP-14 in the observation group at 14 days after surgery was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (16.67%) was lower than that in the control group (40.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of special nursing intervention based on multi-dimensional collaboration for patients undergoing peri-implant keratinized gingival grafting can promote palatal wound healing, relieve postoperative pain, improve quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications.
