Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of all-ceramic crown combined with glass fiber post restoration on gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors in patients with anterior tooth defects. Methods Sixty patients with anterior tooth defects in the Second People"s Hospital of Qingyang from March 2021 to March 2024 were included in the study. They were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases, restored with metal post and cobalt-chromium porcelain crown) and the study group (30 cases, restored with all-ceramic crown combined with glass fiber post) by random number table method. The occlusal function, periodontal indicators, aesthetic degree, and gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors of the two groups were compared. Results The maximum occlusal force and maximum occlusal contact area of the study group at 6 months after restoration were (23.05 ± 2.59) kg and (191.57 ± 17.82) mm2, respectively, which were higher than those of the control group (20.76 ± 2.72) kg and (180.38 ± 16.95) mm2 (t = 3.340, 2.492, P < 0.05); the periodontal index scores of the study group at 6 months after restoration were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the aesthetic degree score of the study group at 6 months after restoration was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors of the study group at 6 months after restoration were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion All-ceramic crown combined with glass fiber post restoration can effectively improve the occlusal function of patients, restore periodontal health indicators, reduce gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors, and has a good aesthetic effect.
