Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of complete denture restoration with biological functional removable denture restoration system on masticatory function in patients with dentition loss. Methods A total of 80 patients with dentition loss admitted to the Department of Stomatology, the Third People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from January 2024 to December 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into thecontrol group and the observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received conventional complete denture restoration, and the observation group received complete denture restoration with biological functional removable denture restoration system . The clinical efficacy, masticatory function, satisfaction and oral health status were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The masticatory efffciency and A590 value of the masticated test food in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The OHIP-14 score in the observation group after treatment was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Complete denture restoration with biological functional removable denture restoration system achieves favorable clinical efffcacy in patients with dentition loss, which can improve masticatory function, maintain oral health and enhance patient satisfaction.
