Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of digital guide plate in implantation in anterior maxillary aesthetic region and its inffuence on patients' aesthetic effect and masticatory function. Methods A total of 80 patients with single tooth loss in anterior maxillary aesthetic region who underwent implant restoration in the Department of Stomatology, Liaoyuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2024 to March 2025 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received conventional free-hand implantation, and the study group received digital guide plate-assisted implantation. The surgical indicators, aesthetic effect, masticatory function, implant position and angle deviation, postoperative recovery and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of PES and WES in the study group at 3 months after operation were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The masticatory efffciency and occlusal force in the study group at 3 months after operation were higher than those in the control group, and the masticatory cycle was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). The neck distance deviation, apical distance deviation, depth deviation and angle deviation in the study group were smaller than those in the control group (P<0.05). The postoperative swelling disappearance time, pain disappearance time and normal diet recovery time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group (5.00%) was lower than that in the control group (20.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of digital guide plate in implantation in anterior maxillary aesthetic region has a good effect, which can effectively improve aesthetic effect and masticatory function, optimize surgical indicators, reduce implant position and angle deviation, promote postoperative recovery, with low incidence of postoperative complications and high safety.
