Abstract:Objective: To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of auricular acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine on drug-induced rash after EGFR-TKI treatment, aiming to reduce the incidence of rash and the severity of adverse reactions. Methods: This study included patients with advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC as the research subjects, divided into a control group, an auricular acupuncture group, and an auricular acupuncture combined with drug therapy group. The preventive and therapeutic effects of auricular acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine on EGFR-TKI-related rash were evaluated. Results: The incidence of skin adverse reactions in the auricular acupuncture group, combined treatment group, and control group was 41.67%, 38.10%, and 73.33%, respectively. The DLQI scores decreased in treatment groups. Conclusion: The modified Jingfang Baidu Powder combined with auricular acupuncture can effectively reduce the incidence and severity of EGFR-TKI-related rash, improve treatment tolerance and quality of life, and has no impact on recent objective efficacy.
