Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of cognitive-behavioral psychological nursing on the oral health status of patients undergoing oral implant restoration. Methods A total of 90 patients who received oral implant restoration at Southern Central Hospital of Yunnan Province from April 2024 to October 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the trial group by the random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the experimental group received cognitive-behavioral psychological nursing. The fear psychological scores, psychological status, oral health status and health behavior ability were compared between the two groups. Results The fear psychological scores of the experimental group after nursing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The psychological status scores of the experimental group after nursing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The oral health status scores of the experimental group after nursing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The health behavior ability scores of the experimental group after nursing were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients undergoing oral implant restoration, the application of cognitive-behavioral psychological nursing intervention can reduce fear psychological scores, psychological status scores and oral health status scores, and improve health behavior ability scores.
