Objective: To explore the specific value of using skin approach blepharoplasty combined with mid face lifting surgery in the treatment of lower eyelid protrusion caused by facial aging. Method: From December 2020 to December 2025, 80 patients with lower eyelid protrusion caused by facial aging were selected as the study subjects. The grouping method was a random number table method, and the patients were divided into a control group and an observation group. The control group received conventional skin approach blepharoplasty, while the observation group received skin approach blepharoplasty combined with mid face lifting surgery. The beauty effect rate, incidence of complications, perioperative indicators, and facial aesthetics were compared. Result: Compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher rate of excellent cosmetic effects, a lower incidence of complications, shorter operation time and hospital stay, shorter time for postoperative swelling to subside, increased intraoperative bleeding, and higher facial aesthetics (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of skin approach blepharoplasty and mid face lifting surgery can improve the cosmetic effect and facial aesthetics of lower eyelid protrusion caused by facial aging, and the surgical time is short, which can avoid various complications and is worthy of clinical reference.
