Abstract:Objective: To explore the impact of ADOPT problem-solving mode nursing on periodontal health and aesthetics of patients with dental arch defects undergoing dental implant restoration. Method: 84 patients with dental arch defects who underwent dental implant restoration at Changsha Stomatological Hospital from March 2023 to March 2025 were randomly divided into a reference group and an observation group, with 42 patients in each group, using a random envelope grouping method. The reference group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received ADOPT problem-solving mode nursing care. Compare the periodontal health status, aesthetics, complications, and adherence to medical oral care between two groups. Result: After nursing, the periodontal health status of the observation group was better than that of the reference group (P<0.05); The aesthetic score of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group (P<0.05); The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the reference group (P<0.05); The compliance rate of oral care in the observation group was higher than that in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Providing ADOPT problem-solving mode nursing care to patients undergoing dental arch defect implant restoration can improve periodontal health, enhance aesthetics, reduce the occurrence of complications, and increase compliance with medical oral care.
