Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of poly-L-lactic acid injection on improving orbital aging and its impact on patient satisfaction. Methods A total of 200 patients who received orbital anti-aging treatment in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group (n=100) and the observation group (n=100) by the random number table method. The control group was treated with hyaluronic acid injection, and the observation group was treated with poly-L-lactic acid injection. The improvement effect of orbital aging, satisfaction and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of lower eyelid wrinkles, tear trough depression, skin elasticity and periorbital contour in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of periorbital contour, skin elasticity and wrinkles in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.00%, compared with 6.00% in the control group, the difference was not statistically signiffcant (P>0.05). Conclusion Poly-L-lactic acid injection can effectively improve the appearance of patients with orbital aging, with relatively high patient satisfaction and good safety.
