Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of botulinum toxin type A for injection combined with sodium hyaluronate on skin wrinkle depth and skin elasticity in patients with dynamic wrinkles complicated by static wrinkles. Methods A total of 100 patients with dynamic wrinkles complicated by static wrinkles admitted to Shenzhen Peng'ai Medical Aesthetic Hospital from March to September 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with botulinum toxin type A for injection, and the observation group was treated with botulinum toxin type A for injection combined with sodium hyaluronate injection. The skin wrinkle depth, skin elasticity indicators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After 7, 14 and 30 days of treatment, the skin wrinkle depth of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After 7, 14 and 30 days of treatment, the skin elasticity measurement values of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2.00%, compared with 4.00% in the control group, the difference was not statistically signiffcant (P>0.05). Conclusion Botulinum toxin type A for injection combined with sodium hyaluronate can more effectively improve the wrinkle depth and skin elasticity of patients with dynamic wrinkles complicated by static wrinkles, without increasing the treatment risk.
