Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical application effects of porcelain veneers and all-ceramic crowns in anterior aesthetic restoration.ethods Sixty patients requiring anterior aesthetic restoration admitted to our hospital from January 2025 to January 2026 were selected as the research subjects and divided into a refere group (all-ceramic crown restoration) and an experimental group (porcelain veneer restoration) using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. T periodontal health levels [including attachment loss (AL), probing depth (PD), plaque index (PLI), and bleeding index (BI)], aesthetic effects [Pink Estheti Score (PES) and White Esthetic Score (WES)], treatment effects, and complications were observed in both groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the periodontal health le both groups were significantly improved, with a greater improvement in the experimental group than in the reference group. The AL and PD results and PLI and BI scores in the experimental group were signifiy lower than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the aesthetic effects of the gingiva and crown in bothignificantly improved, with a greater improvement in the experimental group than in the reference group. The PES score for gingival aesthetic effect and the WES score for crown aesthetic eexperimental group were significantly higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The treatment effects of both groups were goth the total effective rate in the experimental group slightly higher than that in the reference group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The total incidence of clications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In anterior aesthetic restoration, both polain veneers and all-ceramic crowns have good clinical application effects; however, porcelain veneer restoration has advantages in improving periodontal health levels and aesthetic effects, and is assd with fewer complications.
