Abstract:[Abstract]Objective: To analyze the impact of specialized nursing combined with health education intervention on postoperative suture recovery and patient satisfaction in breast surgery patients. Methods: A total of 66 patients undergoing mastectomy admitted from June 2025 January 2026 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group (n=33 each) using a random number method. The control group received conventional nursing care, while the observation group received specialized nursing combined with health education intervention. Postoperative suture recovery (breast surface aesthetics), self-efficacy, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in BSBs scores between the two groups (P>0.05). At 1 month postoperatively, the observation group showed higher BSBs scores than the control group (P<0.05). On postoperative day 1, no statistically significant difference in self-efficacy scores was observed between the groups (P>0.05). At 1 month postoperatively, the observation group demonstrated higher self-efficacy scores (P<0.05) and greater nursing satisfaction compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Specialized nursing combined with health education intervention can improve postoperative suture recovery outcomes, enhance breast aesthetics and self-efficacy, and increase patient satisfaction with nursing services in breast surgery patients.
