Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of advanced platelet-rich ffbrin (A-PRF) combined with Bio-Oss bone powder on the repair and reconstruction of bone defect in immediate dental implantation. Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing immediate dental implantation admitted to Zhuhai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected, and they were divided into the control group (n=40) and the study group (n=40) by the random number table method. The control group was treated with Bio-Oss bone powder fflling, and the study group was treated with A-PRF combined with Bio-Oss bone powder fflling. The postoperative bone volume-related indicators, periodontal indicators and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results At 6 months after operation, the middle labial bone volume and coronal labial bone volume of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the alveolar ridge height was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). At 6 months after operation, the PD, AL, PI and GI of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). At 6 months after operation, the OHIP-14 score of the study group was (12.28±3.51)points, which was lower than (15.73±5.98)points of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion A-PRF combined with Bio-Oss bone powder fflling can improve the postoperative bone volume changes and periodontal-related indicators of patients undergoing immediate dental implantation, reduce the inffuence of oral health problems on their daily lives, and promote the repair and reconstruction of bone defect.
