Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of digital bracketless invisible orthodontics treatment on facial aesthetic effect and psychological status in patients with malocclusion. Methods A total of 78 patients with malocclusion admitted to our hospital from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 39 patients in each group. The control group received conventional orthodontics treatment, and the observation group received digital bracketless invisible orthodontics treatment. The facial aesthetic effect, facial aesthetic indicators and psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results The score of IOTN-AC in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the scores of PES and WES were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). At the last follow-up, the SNA and ANB of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the SNB was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). At the last follow-up, the scores of SAS, SDS and GSE in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional orthodontics treatment, digital bracketless invisible orthodontics treatment can better improve the facial aesthetic morphology and aesthetic effect of patients with malocclusion, and reduce negative psychology such as anxiety and depression.
