Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of PDCA nursing management model on postoperative pain status in patients undergoing artificial dental implantation. Methods A total of 150 patients undergoing artificial dental implantation who were treated in the Outpatient Department of Nantong Tongzhou People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group (81 missing teeth) and the observation group (83 missing teeth), with 75 patients in each group. The control group received conventional perioperative nursing, and the observation group received PDCA nursing management model. The success rate of dental implantation, postoperative pain status, complication rate and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically signiffcant difference in the success rate of dental implantation between the two groups (P>0.05). The VAS score of the observation group after nursing was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (7.23%) was lower than that in the control group (17.28%) (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group (100.00%) was higher than that of the control group (82.67%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The PDCA nursing management model is highly operable, which can effectively improve patients' nursing satisfaction, and simultaneously reduce postoperative pain and the incidence of complications.
