Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early intervention nursing on scar score and facial aesthetic indicators in children with facial burn. Methods A total of 60 children with facial burn admitted to the Department of Burns, Zigong Fourth People's Hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 30 children in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received early intervention nursing on the basis of the control group. The scar score, facial aesthetic indicators, facial function recovery and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scar scores of the observation group at 3, 6 and 12 months after intervention were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The facial aesthetic indicators and facial function recovery scores of the observation group at 3, 6 and 12 months after intervention were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group (96.67%) was higher than that of the control group (76.67%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of early intervention nursing in children with facial burn can effectively reduce scar severity, improve facial aesthetic indicators, accelerate facial function recovery, and enhance nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
