Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of gold microneedle combined with acupoint catgut embedding on skin physiological indicators in patients with facial laxity and ptosis. Methods A total of 120 patients with facial laxity and ptosis admitted to Yantai Sogood Medical Cosmetology Hospital from January 2020 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was treated with gold microneedle, and the observation group was treated with gold microneedle combined with acupoint catgut embedding. The clinical efffcacy, wrinkle improvement and skin physiological indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group (96.67%) was higher than that of the control group (85.00%) (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of FWS and WSRS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the score of oil content in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the scores of elasticity and moisture content were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of gold microneedle and acupoint catgut embedding has a good clinical effect in the treatment of facial laxity and ptosis. It can effectively improve skin laxity, enhance facial contour tightness, and simultaneously promote the recovery and optimization of skin physiological functions.
