Abstract:To implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and achieve the organic integration of professional knowledge in dental medicine technology with value shaping, this paper takes the course on fixed denture restoration techniques in dentistry as the research object. It analyzes the practical significance and existing problems of integrating ideological and political education into the course, considering the course"s strong practical and technical characteristics. Strategies for integration practice are proposed in terms of reconstructing teaching objectives, exploring ideological and political elements, innovating teaching methods, and improving the evaluation system, and are illustrated through teaching cases. At the same time, a hierarchical evaluation and diversified assessment system is constructed to verify the practical effects. The study shows that deeply integrating ideological and political education into all aspects of the fixed denture restoration techniques course can effectively enhance students" professional quality, craftsmanship spirit, and patriotic feelings, as well as improve students" job competency, providing practical reference for cultivating high-quality applied talents in dental medicine technology.
