Objective To evaluate the effect of micro-endodontic and inlay restoration on the treatment result and esthetic success rate of teeth defective patients.Methods From January 2023 to August 2025, our hospital admitted 96 patients with tooth defects and randomly divided them into two groups: the control group(48 cases)and the observation group(48 cases). The control group underwent inlay restoration while the observation group received micro-endodontic treatment combined with inlay restoration.A comparison was made between the clinical efficacy, aesthetic effect and inflammatory factor levels of the two groups in gingival crevicular fluid.Results The observation group"s clinical efficacy and aesthetic effect were superior to that of the control group(P<0.05); post-treatment, both groups" gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors were lower than before treatment, with the observation group"s being even less than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined use of micro-endodontic treatment and inlay to repair defective teeth could increase clinical effectiveness and aesthetics of defective teeth ,as well as reduction of gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory factors.
