Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of all-ceramic restoration on aesthetic effect and periodontal health indicators in patients with anterior tooth restoration. Methods A total of 56 patients who received anterior tooth restoration at Nantong Tumor Hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 28 patients in each group. The control group received porcelain-fused-to-metal restoration, and the observation group received all-ceramic restoration. The aesthetic effect, periodontal health indicators, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The aesthetic effect scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The periodontal health indicators of the observation group at 1 month after restoration were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life scores of the observation group at 1 month after restoration were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (3.57%) was lower than that in the control group (25.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with porcelain-fused-to-metal restoration, all-ceramic restoration for patients with anterior tooth restoration has better aesthetics and fewer adverse reactions, which can effectively improve patients' quality of life and improve periodontal health. It is worthy of clinical application.
