Abstract:Objective To explore the intervention effect of internet-based health education on skin health knowledge level and facial aesthetic score in patients with sensitive skin. Methods A total of 80 patients with sensitive skin admitted to Department of Dermatology, Afffliated Hospital of Xiangtan Medicine&Health Vocational College from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was given conventional skin nursing guidance and outpatient follow-up, and the observation group was given internet-based health education on the basis of the control group's intervention. The skin health knowledge level, facial aesthetic score, quality of life and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of skin health knowledge in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the VAS score of facial aesthetics in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the score of DLQI in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Internet-based health education can effectively improve the skin health knowledge level of patients with sensitive skin, enhance facial skin aesthetics, help to improve patients' quality of life and satisfaction with health education, and is worthy of clinical application.
