Abstract:Flat warts are benign proliferative lesions of the skin and mucosa caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which fall into the category of "Bianhou" in traditional Chinese medicine. Clinically, it is mainly characterized by flat-topped papules protruding on the skin of the face, back of the hands, forearms and other parts. At present, there is no clear and uniffed understanding of the pathogenesis of ffat warts in academic literature, and certain controversies still exist. It is mainly believed to be related to viral infection and immune function of the body. Professor JIA Min holds that this disease tends to develop into a chronic course, and its pathogenesis is mainly characterized by heat and blood stasis. Blood stasis is the key to this disease, as the traditional Chinese medicine saying goes, "Without eliminating static blood, new blood cannot be generated". Therefore, she puts forward important theories such as " Cooling blood and promoting blood circulation".
