Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of small-incision double eyelid surgery in the correction of congenital bilateral single eyelids. Methods A total of 80 patients with congenital bilateral single eyelids who underwent double eyelid surgery in Chengdu Jinniu Shengshi Yuerong Medical Beauty Clinic from March to September 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with full-incision double eyelid surgery, and the observation group was treated with small-incision double eyelid surgery. The operation time, recovery time, complication rate and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and recovery time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (10.00%) was lower than that in the control group (25.00%) (P<0.05). The satisfaction score of the observation group was (9.25±0.60)points, which was higher than (8.46±0.78)points of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Small-incision double eyelid surgery has a deffnite effect in the correction of congenital bilateral single eyelids. Compared with full-incision double eyelid surgery, it has shorter operation time, faster recovery, lower incidence of postoperative complications and higher patient satisfaction.
