**** Objective To investigate the application effect of porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and bridges in the treatment of periodontal disease patients. Methods A total of 100 periodontal disease patients admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to December 2025 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group (n=50) and an observation group (n=50) using a random number table method. The control group received conventional periodontal basic therapy, while the observation group received additional porcelain-fused-to-metal crown and bridge restoration therapy. The periodontal indices, dental aesthetic outcomes, and satisfaction levels were compared between the two groups after intervention. Results The post-treatment periodontal pocket depth, gingival index, and attachment loss in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The excellent and good rates of dental aesthetics in the observation group were 96.00%, higher than the 82.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate in the observation group was 98.00%, higher than the 82.00% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and bridges with conventional periodontal basic therapy can effectively improve periodontal health, enhance dental aesthetic outcomes, and increase patient satisfaction, making it worthy of clinical promotion and application.
