Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of oral Sanhuang decoction combined with topical Wuhuang decoction ointment and self-made Vacuum Sealing Drainage (VSD) technology on wound healing in patients with chronic wound. Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic wound admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the reference group and the study group, with 30 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with conventional debridement and dressing change, and the study group was treated with oral Sanhuang decoction combined with topical Wuhuang decoction ointment and self-made VSD technology. The wound healing time, frequency of dressing change, hospitalization time, local tissue fluid oxygen partial pressure, granulation tissue coverage rate, bacterial clearance rate, inffammatory factor levels, pain intensity and anxiety were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing time, frequency of dressing change and hospitalization time in the study group were better than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The local tissue ffuid oxygen partial pressure, granulation tissue coverage rate and bacterial clearance rate in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, while the levels of CRP and TNF-α were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of VAS and SAS in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Oral Sanhuang decoction combined with topical Wuhuang decoction ointment and self-made VSD technology can effectively promote wound healing, reduce the frequency of dressing change, shorten the hospitalization time, correct wound tissue hypoxia, eliminate bacteria, alleviate pain and anxiety, increase granulation tissue coverage rate and inhibit inffammatory response, which is worthy of clinical application.
