Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of implant restoration combined with soft tissue management on aesthetic effect and hard and soft tissue indexes in patients with dentition defect. Methods A total of 80 patients with dentition defect who were treated in the Afffliated Stomatological Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from September 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received conventional implant restoration, and the study group received implant restoration combined with soft tissue management. The aesthetic effect, hard and soft tissue indexes, satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After restoration, the scores of all indexes of aesthetic effect in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After restoration, the hard and soft tissue indexes of the study group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction score of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group (5.00%) was lower than that of the control group (20.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Implant restoration combined with soft tissue management can effectively improve the hard and soft tissue indexes of patients with dentition defect, enhance the aesthetic effect and satisfaction, and achieve good safety.
