Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with facial acupoint massage therapy on the improvement of acne lesions and recurrence rate. Methods: From January 2025 to September 2025, 60 acne patients admitted to the dermatology department of the hospital were selected and divided into 2 groups by the envelope method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group: received routine nursing intervention measures, while the study group: received characteristic traditional Chinese medicine nursing, namely auricular point pressing beans + facial acupoint massage nursing measures. Results: The effective rate of acne improvement in the study group reached 96.67%, and the recurrence rate within 1 year was as low as 3.33%, compared with the control group, P < 0.05; the time for acne crust shedding and skin lesion regression in the study group was shorter, the difference was significant (P < 0.05), and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was compared (6.67% vs 3.33%), P > 0.05; the results of skin examination before and after intervention in the two groups of acne patients showed significant changes, the density of sebaceous gland keratin plugs, the average diameter of the sebaceous gland orifice, and the comprehensive severity score of skin mirror in the study group were lower than those in the control group, calculated by statistical software, P < 0.05; in the 3 to 6 months after intervention in the study group, the acne grading and DLQI score of acne patients continuously decreased, and the score decline in the study group was more obvious, compared with the control group, P < 0.05 (statistically significant). Conclusion: The combined application of auricular point pressing beans + facial acupoint massage therapy can accelerate the shedding of acne crusts and the regression of skin lesions, reduce the severity of acne, synergistically improve the overall treatment effect, and reduce the recurrence rate of acne after 1 year.
