Abstract:Objective: To analyze the application of digital guide plate in implantation in the anterior maxillary tooth aesthetic area and its impact on the red-white aesthetic index and chewing function. Methods: 80 patients who underwent implantation in the anterior maxillary tooth aesthetic area at our hospital from March 2024 to March 2025 were selected. They were divided into two groups using Excel tables: the control group and the study group, with 40 cases in each group. They were treated with traditional freehand implantation and digital guide plate-assisted implantation respectively, and the treatment results were observed. Results: The surgical indicators, red-white aesthetic index (PES, WES scores), and chewing function (chewing efficiency, bite force, chewing cycle) of the study group were better than those of the control group, and the recovery time (disappearance of swelling and pain, return to normal diet) was shorter than that of the control group, with a lower complication rate than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The use of digital guide plate in the implantation of anterior maxillary teeth in the aesthetic area is ideal in improving treatment efficiency and promoting postoperative recovery. It can also improve the red-white aesthetic effect and chewing function of patients, with high safety and feasibility.
