Objective: To explore the clinical effect of clearing lung and eliminating acne decoction combined with red and blue light therapy for acne (acne of lung and stomach heat excess syndrome). Methods: 90 patients with acne (acne of lung and stomach heat excess syndrome) admitted to our hospital from November 2024 to August 2025 were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group according to the double-blind method, with 45 cases in each group. All patients received conventional treatment, and in addition, the control group was treated with clearing lung and eliminating acne decoction, while the study group was treated with clearing lung and eliminating acne decoction combined with red and blue light therapy. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate of the study group (95.56%) was higher than that of the control group (80.00%), P < 0.05, with statistical significance. Conclusion: Red and blue light combined with clearing lung and eliminating acne decoction for treating acne has definite efficacy and is worthy of promotion.
