Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of implementing targeted nursing for patients who experienced sensitivity symptoms after anterior teeth resin cosmetic restoration. Methods: From June 2023 to June 2025, 100 patients who experienced sensitivity symptoms after anterior teeth resin cosmetic restoration in this outpatient department were selected for the study. They were divided into the reference group and the research group using the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The reference group received routine oral care, while the research group received targeted care. The nursing effects of the two groups were observed. Results: The pain score of the research group after nursing was lower than that of the reference group, the gingival index score and periodontal probing depth of the research group were lower than those of the reference group, the sensitivity symptom relief time of the research group was shorter than that of the reference group, and the nursing satisfaction of the research group was higher than that of the reference group. All comparisons were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Implementing targeted nursing for patients who experienced sensitivity symptoms after anterior teeth resin cosmetic restoration can effectively improve patients" sensitivity pain discomfort, promote the faster resolution of sensitivity symptoms. At the same time, it can better ensure the patient"s periodontal condition, help the patient return to normal diet life more quickly, thereby improving the patient"s nursing satisfaction and having promotional value.
