Abstract:Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, Chaozhou Guangdong 515741 Abstract: Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy, aesthetic effect and patient satisfaction of resin cosmetic restoration and crown reconnection restoration in the treatment of trauma of young permanent teeth. Methods: From June 2021 to June 2024, the author treated 80 young patients with permanent tooth trauma (80 affected teeth) and randomly divided them into an observation group (40 cases with broken crown reattachment restoration) and a control group (40 cases with resin cosmetic restoration). The patients were followed up for 12 months after the operation, and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results: The observed composition power was 95.0%, and the success rate of the control group was 80.0%. The power of the observation composition was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); The excellent rate of marginal fit, the excellent rate of dental morphology recovery and the masticatory function score in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of color matching degree and shape coordination in the observation group were both higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was 97.5%, which was higher than that of the control group at 82.5% (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Reconnection and restoration of broken crowns have definite therapeutic effects, good aesthetics, high patient satisfaction and few complications in the treatment of trauma of young permanent teeth, and are worthy of clinical promotion.
