Objective: To explore the therapeutic effects of traditional conical excision surgery and the application of the small incision reversal flap method for the treatment of axillary odor in patients.Methods: The control group consisted of 30 cases from January 2023 to May 2024, who underwent traditional elliptical resection surgery. The study group included 30 patients from June 2024 to June 2026, who underwent the axillary fold small incision flap inversion method. The treatment effects, complications, stress indicators of trauma, and scar satisfaction of the patients were analyzed.Results: The therapeutic effect of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The complications in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The level of traumatic stress index in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The scar satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with bromhidrosis, the method of turning the skin flap through small incision in axillary folds can reduce complications, reduce the body"s traumatic stress response and improve scar satisfaction, which is worth popularizing.
