Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of oral specialist comprehensive nursing on dental aesthetics and function in patients with dental fluorosis after Er:YAG laser treatment. Methods A total of 88 patients with dental fluorosis who received Er:YAG laser treatment in our hospital from May 2024 to May 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 44 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the study group received oral specialist comprehensive nursing. The intervention effect, tooth sensitivity, dental aesthetics and function, comfort level and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The tooth sensitivity of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of aesthetics, comfort, language and masticatory function in the study group after nursing were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The comfort scores of the study group after nursing were all higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of oral specialist comprehensive nursing in patients with dental fluorosis after Er:YAG laser treatment can effectively improve the clinical effect, enhance dental aesthetics and function, reduce postoperative tooth sensitivity, and improve patients' comfort level and satisfaction.
